Chiropractic Care

Your central nervous system is made up of the brain, spinal cord and the nerves that run from your spinal cord to every part of your body. When you think of chiropractic, do you think of back pain and neck pain? You’re far from alone. In reality, however, chiropractors work on the body’s central nervous system. Though problems with your neck and back may improve with care, what we’re truly doing is correcting misalignments in your spine.

These misalignments, called subluxations, affect the 24 bones of your spine called vertebrae. When a vertebra is out of alignment, it can’t go back on its own. We can get it into the right position with a chiropractic adjustment. Once you’re aligned again, your central nervous system can work at 100%.

Techniques That Suit Your Preferences

If you’ve been to a chiropractor before, you may have a certain way you like to be adjusted. Be sure to let Dr. Brian know so that he can accommodate you. Our techniques include

  • Torque Release Technique®
  • Applied Kinesiology
  • Logan Basic
  • Diversified
  • NetworkSpinal
  • Sacral Occipital Technique

Torque Release Technique® is the primary method we use at our practice as it’s precise, specific and fast. This advanced method is also gentle and is employed by hand or the use of a small, handheld instrument, which is called the Integrator. We’re able to correct spinal misalignments, relieve pain and promote optimal well-being as a result. Dr. Brian is advanced certified in this adjusting method, and has been awarded a Fellow of the Holder Research Institute for his work with the technique.

Some people prefer what they consider to be a more traditional chiropractic adjustment. One in which you can feel and hear the vertebrae release and regain mobility. We use Diversified Technique for this procedure when appropriate. It will move the vertebrae of your spine back into a more normal position.

Before your adjustment, we’ll tell you what we’re going to do and ask you if you have any concerns.

We Don’t Treat Conditions

Please note that we do not make any claims about treating conditions. It is common, however, that people see a chiropractor when they experience symptoms. The most common that people see us for include

  • Arm pain
  • Disc bulges
  • Headaches
  • Low back pain
  • Neck pain
  • Numbness and tingling
  • Sciatica
